Fused Glass Pendant Workshop

Make 10 pendants in this four-hour Saturday afternoon workshop. Make your own holiday

Mosaic Fused 8" Plate Will repeat

Come learn glass cutting and fusing skills with Polly. You will make
an 8" round plate in the mosaic style. We will fuse it flat and then
fuse into a slump mold. Both firings and all glass are included.

Fusing Day - 2 Projects!
Make a Pocket Vase and a 6" plate! Polly will teach your the what and what nots to do
in fusing and then you will create the pocket vase in the morning and a 6" plate in the

Beginning PMC with Kathy Corby
Kathy is an artist well versed in beadmaking and PMC. She can teach you how to work
PMC and make toggles, charms, earring, pendants, and other beady embellishments. Come
work and play for a day and explore this fascinating medium. In case you haven't heard,
PMC is pure silver suspended in clay so you work it like clay and get results like a
silversmith in pure silver.

Precious Metal Clay Rings and Stone Setting Will repeat soon
On the first night we'll make several rings and learn a variety of new techniques
including stone setting, ornamenting with syringe clay and PMC paper, and the use of the
new RingMaker tool that makes forming rings without seams a snap. The next night we'll
finish our rings with patina and gold accents.

Bronze
Precious Metal Clay

The fantastic new Bronzclay you've been waiting for! It works like terracotta
clay, but fires to pure bronze with a rainbow patina that will dazzle
you. We'll be creating a stunning, comfortable bronze link bracelet. You'll
learn tear away transfer technique and form your bracelet pieces on the
first evening, and assemble the bracelet on the second. No prior experience
necessary. Leave with a beautiful finished piece ~ and you're the artist!

Working the Trautman Reactive 104's with Jenny Newtson Will repeat soon
Partly art, partly science. The new silver glass colors are a wonderful addition
to the soft-glass palette, but are you getting all you can out of these colors? In this 2 day
class, students will get a review of the colors in the TAG 104 line, and learn tips, tricks and
techniques to work these colors to their best effects. Students will also learn proper torch
settings for reducing and striking them. Jenny Newtson, the 104-coe girl at Trautman Art
Glass, will share good combinations to go with the reactive glasses, and how to get
maximum bang for your buck. Beginning/Intermediate level; students will just need enough
experience on the torch to understand the terminology, such as neutral settings and what
she means by 'candles' in the torch flame.

Glass Boot Camp
Choose your project - 12x24", 16" circle, 18x18"
or any similar size. Two days of FUN! Hard work will teach
you all the basics of cutting, grinding, foiling, soldering,
and patina. Please choose your project ahead of time so I
can give you a little homework ahead of time. This will give
you the optimal use of your weekend. If you have previous
stained glass experience you may use this weekend to learn
leading. Discuss pre-class homework with me to arrange this.
Sat/Sun July 10th and 11th 9am-4pm with
a lunch break. Fee: $200.00 plus $25.00 supply fee. Student

Come learn stained glass with Jackie, just in time to make a special gift. Or, gift yourself
and learn a new skill!
Come in and sign up, choose your project and tools so we can set you up to do some
homework before class. In the first class you will learn cutting, fitting and foiling. Go home
and work on your project. Then, in the second class, you will learn soldering, lead or zinc
borders, patina and polish.

Pretty Little Things

Collage jewelry, trinkets, keepsakes. Come learn to cut simple
glass shapes, encase your photos in two layers of glass, then solder

get plenty of help in this short workshop to make a simple lead
project or some charming memorabilia.

CCE Beginning Stained Glass Will repeat

Have you always wanted to learn how to make stained glass? In this class
you’ll learn how to cut, fit, solder and apply finishing treatments as you complete a
panel
approximately 12" x 18" in class. These same techniques can later be applied to
sidelights, cabinets and many other projects. Students will be taught to work with glass and
lead
safely. The instructor provides some materials and tools, but each student wilt need his/her
own
project materials which will cost $100-300, depending on the tools and project you choose.
Tools and materials can be shared. A materials list will be mailed upon
registration.

Beginners will follow a beginner's outline and intermediate level students may choose
a more complex pattern or piece such as box making or lead project. Class commitment can
help you get to that project you have been meaning to complete.
Some tools will be available for student use such as grinders, light boxes and saws;
however, each student will need his/her own hand tools and project materials. A materials
